Project for a new prison concept for 80 inmates of all levels of security.

Correctional and probation services are co-located establishing a competence centre that operates on both sides of the threshold between community and prison. The buildings for the inmates are organized around the periphery of a common out door area thus constituting a new type of prison wall suggesting possibilities for a more civil façade and an efficient module based building process. Each building relates to a plot that can be used for recreational or rehabilitation purposes. The plots can be divided from the common area and such establishing small “self sufficient” units.
