This small kiosk in Taipei is part of the city’s preparation for its status as Design Capital 2016. Four international architects were invited to develop a tiny structure with a public function for a specific site in Taipei. Manthey Kula designed a book crossing where people of the neighborhood can meet and exchange used books. The white structure contrasts the colorful context and the minimal interior captures scenes from the passing life and the ever-changing city light.
